Styling an overlay jumpsuit

Hey Y’all!! Friends, let me tell you the last couple of weeks have been rough. My mom was in the hospital and it was a very stressful ordeal. On top of that, I went a few rounds with the Mike Tyson of allergies, add in a bronchial infection, and a ruptured eardrum just for kicks. Our doctor’s bank account is loving us right now lol. I have been trying hard to get back to the land of the living. I am so thankful to God that we are all on the mend. I am so ready to put on something cute and breathe in some fashion fun!

I always love to find unusual pieces, and this is a cutie! This overlay jumpsuit by Boston Proper sold for $150.

My price was just $15 from NBC. Such a perfect flowy summer piece, it has enough glam on it’s own but you can change the look with just accessories. Today, I will show you several ways I styled it.

First up, I wanted to add drama mama shoes so these cute fringe beauties and a tan summer belt create a dressy date night outfit. This is my favorite way to wear it.

I turned a navy polka dot button down dress into an over jacket, pairing it with a matching belt and shoes.

I added an oversized silk top and belted it. The flowy sheer skirt creates such nice lines. Putting a top over a jumpsuit is an easy way to create a new outfit

For the last look, I added a large obi belt, Kate Spade black and white sandals, a black and white fedora, and a just floral kimono to dress the look down a bit.
