Styling a halter top

On a recent trip to my FAVORITE retail store NBC half of half, they were celebrating 55 years in business and had a 55 CENT sale! I was in heaven finding a lot of cute things for a ridiculously low price. One of those pieces was this cute multi color halter top. I thought of several cute ways it could be styled. Halters have been around for decades and can add a lot of style to basic pieces. The top was originally $15, but at just 55 cents, I could not pass it up.

I had found a darling pair of pleated palazzo pants at Goodwill for $9 earlier in the year, it was a great pairing to create a breezy look.

Adding a pink scarf gives warmth and another pop of color. I styled all the outfits with my favorite electric blue strappy heels.

This halter had extra long ties at the neck, with this look I tied them around the front and into a bow creating more of an office look. I paired it with a vintage pencil skirt I thrifted for $4 a few years ago.

This sweet Ralph Lauren full skirt was an Ebay purchase years ago, it’s one of my favorite spring pieces. Adding my favorite blue hat gives it just a little extra style oompf. This is my favorite of the 3. The great thing about multi-color pieces is the ability to wear them with so many things. You can’t buy much these days for 55 cents, so this one is definitely a budget style winner!

Blessings,

Eden
