Styling a floral maxi skirt 4 ways

Today is Good Friday, for those who may be unaware of what that means, it’s a day of rememberance of Jesus, and his crucifixtion. As a woman of deep faith, this day always gets to my heart. I pray that the love of God blesses and keeps you on this Easter weekend!

I have a few choices of what I will be wearing for Easter, I haven’t decided just yet. Nothing says spring like a floral print and the color yellow. I always look for a vibrant floral maxi skirts with an elastic waist that I can wear several ways for the spring/summer season. My eye was immediately drawn to this yellow and pink beauty, it was exactly the bright type of print I was looking for.

A pink Calvin Klein button down, a yellow ruffled sleevless top, and a pink Moda International vest are the pieces I am working with today.

Wearing a button down shirt with a maxi is great when it’s still a little chilly outside or you want to tone down the formality of the long skirt. I used an obi belt to dress it down even further.

It’s warm and sunny here in Texas so a sleeveless top always a staple for us. The ruffles add a little fancy, but not too much.

Pulling the elastic over the chest to create a strapless dress, is one of my favorite ways to wear it. I added a pink scarf and strappy yellow heels. The large flowers and vibrant color make this a perfect summer dress.

This cute vest creates a different look without adding something warm. A blazer or top can also work with this style. Don’t pass up those cute maxi skirts, they are so versatile and create one of a kind outfits.

Blessings,

Eden
