Navy polka dots

I am a print kind of girl, animal, stripes, graphic, you name it I love it. It wasn’t always that way, a few years ago my closet consisted of mostly black & ivory, lots of solid colors, and neutrals.

Now, my closet looks more colorful and bold the minute I walk in, which is how it should be. I thrifted these wide-leg polka dot pants a couple of years ago. I had to alter them down since they were too big, but I just loved the style. Some wide-leg pants can be too overpowering for a small frame, but these have just the right amount of flair.

I thirfted this top many years ago, and it’s been on the donation block so many times when I do my closet cleanouts since it’s polyester, not my favorite fabric, but it always looks so cute on. Now that I have paired them with these cutie pants, I will be keeping it after all. Sometimes you just need a new piece to make an old one shine.
