Thrifted Thursday the power of red

When it comes to creating an outfit, I am all about the little details, that is the secret sauce that takes it from average to knockout. I thrifted this $10 Ann Taylor longline blazer simply because of the white detail trim. By itself, the jacket was meh at best but I knew I had other pieces in the vault that would make it sing.

And sing she did!! A little pop of red transforms just about any outfit. Upstyling a boring piece is my way of turning average into one of a kind. You don’t have to wait for a special occasion to upstyle, every day is a chance to feel your best in what you are wearing. This ensemble makes me fashion happy, so this would be a standard work outfit for me. It’s a bold statement, but fun which is how I like my outfits to come across

This entire outfit, except the Aldo heels and vintage Jones New York crest vest (eBay) are thrifted pieces. $6 for the Ann Taylor navy and white pinstriped pants, $3 for the scarf, $5 Jaclyn Smith button-down which also has navy detail trim on the collar. Little pops of color all add up to a power suit that looks like it was made to go together.

This outfit breathes confidence which everyone can use from time to time. A little pop of red is a powerful thing!

Blessings,

Eden
