Styling a scarf 4 ways

One of the best secret weapons to glam up any outfit is a scarf. These inexpensive beauties can give your outfits chic Jackie O vibes. Long considered a style staple, these small accessories pack a big punch.

I wear scarves all year. Not only do they help cover up turkey neck that all of us grandmas get at some point lol, they just add instant class to any outfit.

For the outfit, I picked one of my favorite trench coats. I thrifted the timeless beauty years ago. It’s a beautiful vintage piece that goes with everything.

Styled with JLO wide-leg pants in the same color, it’s a blank slate waiting for some color. When I want a certain accessory or my shoes to really stand out, I will keep all the other colors in the rest of the outfit the same so the eye is drawn where I want it to go.

Scarves are also a great tool to pull colors or patterns from to make an outfit cohesive. Since I didn’t use a bright color like I normally do, I pulled the leopard print from it for the shoes.

In the first photo, I used a smaller similar scarf I tied it like an ascot and tucked it into the pants. This is a classic style, great for just a small pop of color around your face and to add a little fancy.

In the second photo, fold the scarf in the middle to create one point that goes in the back, drape it around your shoulders, and tuck it into a belt.

In the third photo, folding it the same way as #2 but draping it over one shoulder and tucking it into the belt. You can also secure it with a small brooch on the lapel to keep it from slipping.

The fourth photo is draping one side over your neck and back and the other side over the front. This is also a classic style that will glam up anything.

Grab a scarf and change up your favorite outfit in an instant!

Blessings,

Eden
