Peachy keen

Grandpa words. Oldie words or phrases that you don’t hear anymore, or maybe have never heard depending on your generation, but they are things your grandpa/ma used to say. Now that I am a grandparent, I guess I should do my part to instill fun words that my grandkids can laugh about and pass on to their kids.

Peachy keen. It means excellent or wonderful. It’s my grandpa word of the day as I describe this dreamy tiered skirt I saw on Pinterest years ago, and I thought it was adorable.

Fast forward to finding this peach chiffon tiered skirt (no brand) on eBay. It had that romantic vibe frilly skirts tend to evoke. Not really an everyday wear kind of skirt but so great for summer/beach weddings or obviously, walking around in your backyard lol. As I have stated many times, I like pairing casual pieces with more fancy-schmancy things, it makes them wearable more often. Be it a denim shirt and boots, or a romantic lace corset top, this skirt is peachy keen.
