Off the shoulder cardigan

When I put this outfit together it just had such a romantic feel to it. When I looked at the photos, I thought it needed a little something to capture that mood. I asked my oh-so-very-talented son to photoshop a fountain/garden in the reflection of the window, it’s funny how one small thing gives a photo a totally different feel.

This cardigan was such a great find. I love unusual pieces, so when I saw this Boston Proper off-the-shoulder navy knit with big gold buttons and bow detail, it was love at first sight! I bought this last year for $9 at NBC. I posted about it when I got it, at that time I tried it with jeans and ivory flowy pants, it was cute, but I didn’t love it.

It just needed a new partner to bring out it’s romantic side. I paired it with an ivory vintage 80’s skirt I thrifted for $5. I remember wearing these button-down skirts in high school so it was a must have. The small pearl button detail is so dainty and feminine, I just love it. Another timeless skirt that will go with everything.

Pearls are always a great choice for a romantic style. The adorable Mary Jane shoes in red, white, and blue gingham are such an adorable pair. Adding the thin red belt brings out all the colors in the shoes. Such a sweet outfit now that it has it’s right mate!

Blessings,

Eden
