My favorite fall suit

I am soo excited!! A real cold front is moving in this weekend and it will be in the 50’s!! That is our “winter weather” here in Texas lol. Wearing boots and jackets is always my favorite fashion time of the year.

Today’s outfit by The Limited, is a walk down memory lane. Do you all remember shopping IN the mall as teenagers? Big malls are kind of dinosaurs now, but I remember them fondly as a part of my youth, its where we hung out with our friends and actually talked to people since we had no phones to text lol. Ahhh, the good old days. The Limited always had cute clothes. They had such pretty window displays. Each time I wear this outfit, It gives me happy fashion thoughts. Extra bonus points that it’s my favorite print, PLAID!! I LOVE the rich autumn colors and feel it was the perfect suit for fall.

I bought this a while ago on Poshmark, separately from 2 different sellers. The blazer was $10 and the skirt was $12. Looking now, the blazer alone is going for $30-50, so I am glad I bought it before all the prices went through the roof.

I like to mix and match the pieces. It looks great as is, I paired it with Vince Camuto violet boots that match almost perfectly.

I also like to wear the blazer with jeans, the other color in the plaid print is navy, so wearing dark wash jeans brings that color out. I paired it with Aldo oxford heels, a vibrant scarf, and a fun fedora, as usual.

This is one of those suits I will never part with, it will continue to be fall classic in my closet and a happy reminder of many mall shopping memories!
