Going gray
It’s amazing what I find at GW. You would be surprised how many new with tags items there are. GW is an outlet for Target in the Denver Colorado area, (maybe your area too) so if you live there you will find a TON of Target stuff, especially after seasons end. A lot of other stores will take their returns, overstock, or past seasonal items and donate for the tax write-off. I’ve been a thrifter for so many years so I’ve seen just about it all.
Why spend $158 on a suit and not wear it? Such was the case of this gray steal from The Limited. As you can see, I paid $7.99. This is why I rarely shop retail. I can find just about anything I want, take it to the cleaners, then take the rest of that $$ I would have spent at a retail store and buy 4+ more outfits. As you can see, you don’t have to spend a lot to look great.
I found this lush faux fur wrap at GW for $10. Pricey for a wrap according to probably no one but me lol. Usually, I have about a $5 limit for scarves and such, but I made an exception on this because it was higher end (Eliza J $98 at Bloomingdale) and the color was amazing, it was a must have. It’s meant to be worn over a dress for a more formal occasion, but I slapped it on my gray coat, a suit and then a turtleneck and I liked it on all 3. Don’t be afraid to try accessories in new ways, make your outfit one of a kind.
Blessings,
Eden
