Black & white shorts

Today is Friday the 13th. I am not a superstitious person, so to me, it’s just another Friday and the only unlucky part is the ridiculous amount of laundry I need to tackle. However, if you happen to feel that it is a bad luck kind of day, let’s take your mind off of that with a 2-fer outfit post.

I love to have timeless wardrobe pieces. Things that just never go out of style. I am not a slave to fads or the new “in thing” unless I really like it. Everything tends to come back in style at some point.

These high waisted shorts with black piping by Will Smith, have been in my closet for over 20 years. I wear them just about every summer.

A standard v-neck black tank, is what I normally wear with them, but honestly they go with just about everything. This tank is by INC, it has cute gold chain detail so it can be dressy or casual. Another timless piece.

Adding a sun hat gives the outfit a little bit of sass!

#2-I just bought this cute INC top at NBC for only $4! I call it the jailbird lol since it has that old time prisoner look to it. Stripes in black and white will never go out of style.

Now I have a new favorite top to wear with my beloved shorts. We will see if it’s still in the vault 20+ years from now…
