Amazon floral skirt review

Hey, y’all! So sorry for the continued delay in getting posts up. Our family cannot seem to get allergies and flu bugs under control, we get over one and another pops up. After looking like a zombie the last week, I wanted to post something with some flair.

Today, I am giving you my review of a skirt I purchased from Amazon. Generally, I buy accessories but not clothing from Amazon. I have not had the best of luck in the past with the quality or sizing. I decided to roll the fashion dice when I saw this cute floral pleated skirt, it was on sale at the end of last summer. It comes in several prints and colors and is still available for purchase.

I was honestly a little surprised by the quality of the fabric, it was heavier than I expected it to be which was a plus, the print is not as detailed as I would have liked, but it has pockets and is overall a cute skirt. It’s cotton so it’s not too warm or clingy and the pleats are perfect. I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars just because of the lack of detail in the print.

I wanted to find a red top to wear with it, but having the matchy-match curse that I do, I couldn’t find a red that I thought went well with it. I could have just gone with something white, but it didn’t have the pop I knew red would. When I have my mind set on how I will style something, I will usually keep it on hold until I find the right piece instead of just wearing it with something else.

A cute Walmart ruffle top gave it the feminine flair I wanted to add to it. It had the same vibrant color as the roses.

I added a red crinoline to make the skirt more full and my favorite red bow heels give it the retro vibe I so love. A perfect outfit for a big floppy summer hat.

It’s easy to create a less formal look by removing the crinoline and adding wedges instead of heels. A cute summer outfit either way. The current price is more than I spent last year since all things have gone up, but it is less than most similar skirts on Amazon.

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
