3 ways to wear a wrap dress
You just have to love a wrap dress. Whoever came up with the idea was fashion smart. Being able to adjust the waist with a simple tie of the bow is spot-on brilliant!
Ate too much at lunch? No problem, adjust, had the stomach flu and lost a couple of pounds? No worries, adjust. It’s the dress that grows in and out with you, plus they can be styled easily into other outfits. What’s not to love? Only $8.50 for a multiple-size and FLORAL dress? Yes, please!
I normally shy away from silk or satin dresses due to the static that gives me bride of Frankenstein hair lol. Also, they are not the friend of windy days like today, but the colors were so pretty on this one, I couldn’t pass it up.
The rich and thin fabric makes it a perfect transitional weather dress, especially here in Texas when it’s still really warm in what would be fall to everyone else.
A cute beaded top and rust slacks pull the colors from the dress and I simply tied the wrap belt in the front wearing it like a robe. I added a beaded chain belt for more definition around the back of the waist and to match the top.
Wearing it with the wrap belt tied in a loose bow behind my back turns it into a cute kimono style. I love this style with jeans and cute heels.
It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t throw a hat on. It just gives the dress a little more splash, even though it’s perfectly fine on its own.
With it’s beautiful colors, I will be styling this cutie into many more outfits!
Blessings,
Eden
