3 ways to style a jumpsuit
I love creating unique outfits. I have a weird knack for looking at a piece of clothing or furniture and can instantly imagine the different ways it could be styled.
I bought this cute strapless jumpsuit at NBC for $3. I knew it could turn into several outfits so that was a great deal. These outfits can also be created with a strapless dress if you can’t find a jumpsuit.
Outfit #1- I added a statement necklace and a striped shawl. THOSE heels give it an extra punch. Never underestimate the power of a great shoe to transform an outfit.
Outfit #2- Adding a collared sleeveless top with ruffles gives this a tuxedo feel. (Its hard to see the ruffles due to the lighting) You could use any sleeveless collared top without the bowtie and still have a cute outfit. Again adding statement bowtie shoes kicks the outfit up a notch.
Outfit#3-Adding a black pinstripe long-sleeve button-down top and a striped tie. Again you could forgo the tie and it would still be cute. I adore menswear, so any chance I can wear a tie, I am taking it. I added patent color-blocked oxford heels to keep the shoe trend going.
Having outfits that you can multi-purpose is a great way to save space and time. $3 for 3 outfits. This is why I am a firm believer in having a lot of accessories, changing the scarf, tie or shoes will give it a completely different look. Why wear the same thing over and over when you can add a couple of inexpensive things to give you a lot of choices? Life is too short to wear boring clothes.
