Restyling summer skirts

You all know by now how much I love button-down dresses and skirts since they can create several outfits. When I thirfted this $12 summer Ralph Lauren crest dress, I thought it was the perfect piece to show you how to restyle various skirts you may already have in your closet.

First up, is wearing the dress as intended. This is just the perfect casual summer dress, breezy and so darn cute! Oh, Ralph Lauren how I LOVE thee!!

Next up, have a skirt that is a little too short for your taste? Or if you just want a new way to wear one, put it over a dress. The dress is a little too long for this skirt, but it will give you the basic idea of how to wear them, it creates a cute ruffle under the $5 thrifted new with tags lace skirt.

A button-down skirt over a button-down dress? You betcha! It’s an easy way to create a little visual interest and wear something different! I wear this thrifted vintage linen skirt to death in the summer.

The dress is a perfect cover over for a lace skort (skirt/shorts) from Walmart, nice and airy, it dresses them up just a little

Skirts look great over dresses as well as leggings, they are a great piece to style out of the standard fashion box. It’s always fun to create one of a kind outfits!

Blessings,

Eden
