Winding down

I don’t know about you all, but I feel like I have a holiday hangover. The excessive planning, decorating, food, holiday festivities, and parties then all at once it’s gone. It’s past time to take down the decor but I am seriously lacking the motivation. I have been sick for the past 2 weeks with what Texas calls cedar fever. It’s a lovely little allergy that wreaks havoc on your lungs and overall ability to talk or breathe. It’s a winter allergy that starts in November and can hang thru February. Everything is bigger in Texas and that includes their allergies lol.

Time to stop whining and tell you about my latest find! This adorable Forever 21 belted cranberry plaid cape that I bought from Poshmark for $12! The fur collar is removable which I can use with other things and also give the cape a different look.

One more plaid cape to add to the collection lol. I don’t think I will ever tire of them. They are just an outfit staple for me. I paired it with Leila Stone lace-up knee boots. A perfect date night outfit to keep an evening chill at bay.
