Western Wednesday sass

Sass. My kids are fluent in it, and honestly, they probably get that from me and a little from my mom. Generational sass. It’s a spunky little attitude. when I saw this tank I took a pix of it to send to my daughter, the current reigning queen of sass-a-frass. She loves her cowgirl boots as much as I do, maybe even more so. A good laugh for $4.99 and into the cart it went.

But the fun didn’t stop there, my inner 80’s fashionista came running out when I saw this adorable tiered tulle skirt, it’s not vintage, but it just instantly reminded me of the Madonna/Cyndi Lauper style that defined fashion during my high school days. Girls just want to have f-uh-uh-n AND get a cute outfit or 3. I knew it would go with several things in the vault so it was my deal of the day.

Sometimes an outfit is born without intention, they just happen to be in a cart or in a laundry basket together and it clicks, which was the case here. I knew my cityfied Cyndi skirt was going to take a ride on the country side. The skirt has its own little bit of sass, so it’s an unusual but good match. Pairing a more formal skirt with a gym/jeans type of tank has my name all over it. The tank looked great with jeans too, which I will be posting about tomorrow.

I would wear this country dancing in a hot Texas minute, but if that’s not your thing, Halloween is coming up so you can put it together and go to your party as an 80’s Texas princess lol. Country glam is the best and oh so fun to wear.

The brand of my skirt is Urban Coco. I am putting a link to a similar style Halloween skirt on Amazon. I’m sure it’s more flimsy and see through but a pair of leggings will take care of that.

This type of skirt would go great with any graphic tee or tank. Swap out the boots and hat for your own style and you have a cute Cyndi-inspired outfit to go out with girls just wanna have fun!

Blessings,
