Thrifted Thursday vow renewal dress

Regular readers of my blog know I talk about my hubs on the regular. He’s the best. A wonderful husband and father to our 7 kids. The total love of my life and my very best friend. Every 7 years we renew our vows and throw a party. This time we are going to do an 80’s theme.

I have 3 outfit changes for it and of course, I thrifted all of them for the big day! The main dress though is this beauty…

Who remembers the big wire organza ruffles? they were really popular for wedding gowns back in the day. I worked in the bridal industry in the 80'‘s/90’s so I remember thinking they were just soo beautiful lol.

I will be styling it differently for the party with a stonewashed denim jacket and high-top converse, but I wanted to take photos of it for my outfit diary since I love how unique it is.

Unfortunately, I have been sick the last few days and hope that today I can feel a lot better to really enjoy remarrying my forever boyfriend! Our kids flew in to celebrate with us so our house is full and so is my heart!
