Crows feet in heels

Vibrant spring styling

Are you a fan of VIBRANT extra bold colors? I must admit there was a time when the only bold color I would wear was mostly in my shoes or accessories. I kept everything a little more on the neutral side. I was soo missing the fun party boat on that one, bold colors really do elevate your mood and bring a little power to your outfit.

This VERY hot pink sweater is eye punching bright lol, it was a brand new steal for just $7. It’s perfect for spring since it’s lightweight. The $5 bright yellow floral skirt by 901 is also an eye catching yellow, with equally bright flowers, it makes me smile whenever I put it on.

You can pull the shoulders down on a crossover neckline to create an off the shoulder look. I like to do that with button down top underneath. This creates a unique style you don’t see often. It’s modest and warm if you are still dealing with those cold days.

This is the top underneath the sweater, this photo also has a style DON’T lol… I would normally choose a different color of belt, the navy obi blends too much with the top and creates too much thickness in the middle. One of the benefits of taking pix of your outfits is seeing how it looks from another view besides the mirror lol.

Wearing a cami under the sweater gives the modesty I prefer since it’s low cut but does not create bulkiness or too much warmth. Wearing lace up sandals, heels or wedges always looks great with a full skirt and lightens the look even more.

Floppy summer hats always go so great with a floral skirt they are best fashion friends! I styled it with and without the belt, both are fine, it’s just whatever your own preference may be.

For warmer days, a sleeveless top with the sweater tied around the neck, gives a pop of color to the dark navy, but can also be taken off and worn if it gets chilly. This was a big prep style in the 80’s and has recently found new life again in 2023 style trends.

Sweaters with skirts have been around for fashion-ever, somethings just never go out of style.

Blessings,
