Thrifted Thursday $5 vintage navy peacoat
A very late post for thrifted Thursday. It’s been a busy day. I finally started to feel a little better, but my hubs has been sick, and today he tested positive for Covid. I tested negative, at least for now. We have dodged the Covid bullet for almost 2 years. We are all vaccinated but it was inevitable it would catch one of us. I spent the day sanitizing the house, and he has moved into the movie room since it’s a comfy place to quarantine. It’s weird to miss someone who is in the same house. My elderly mom lives with us, so we have to take extra precautions since I take care of her, and my lungs are still healing up. UGGGH! We are both sick of being sick!
It’s a good time though to start writing a few posts about some of my recent finds. I chose this one today because my hubs loves this new to me outfit. He was in the Navy and still has his coat. We could match and be that annyoing couple lol. It’s dressy casual, and it’s so cozy, perfect for a chilly winter day.
This vintage navy pea coat is by Evan Piccone. It’s running between $70-$100+ online. It’s lined in plaid so of course I love it. It’s a very heavy and well made piece. I am sure in it’s prime it was expensive but my price was only $5! Such a great score for this like new winter coat. The cream Old Navy cable knit sweater was more expensive at $7 lol. The Big Star Janae jeans were $10. The Aldo boots were like new and only $13. I looked up each piece, I made a great investment since all together its running around $300+ my cost only $35!
My amazing hubs always reads my blog posts so hopefully these photos will help cheer him up lol. Love you babe!! It certainly made me happy to find it. Hope you are all staying healthy out there!
Blessings,
Eden
