Happy September y’all! While most states look forward to cooler temperatures, that is not the case here in Texas, it’s really hot all the way through mid-November. So my outfits may seem sometimes unseasonable, but it’s too freakin’ hot here for jeans and boots just yet.

In celebration of a new month, I am launching Thrifted Thursday. I will post something I recently thrifted, 1 or 2 Thursdays a month. I am going to really challenge myself to spend as little as possible for the maximum cuteness.

First up is this adorable strapless dress with a harlequin-ish pattern by London times. Full skirt, pockets and an eye-grabbing print. You know I’ll be wearing this with a big honkin’ hot pink hat next summer.

Sooo much cuteness for only $10. A great buy for sure. Notice that the price tag is sized medium, for a size 6? As I stated in another post, this happens in thrift stores all the time, that things are put into the wrong size due to being mistagged. So I always look for the print/fabric that pops out at me, not necessarily sizes when I am thrifting. Not surprising a lot of outfits that were donated probably due to ordering from Wish or the like with their crazy size charts, that are tagged large are actually smalls in U.S. sizes. So it never hurts to look through all the sizes in dresses. Sizes can vary so much by designers and especially if it is a vintage piece.

The cutie shoes are from Charlotte Russe. Along with the hot pink wrap, it’s a great combo for the steal of a deal.

The first Thrifted Thursday is in the bag! Who knows what I will post next time….
