Swim-wear it!

Texas is known for many things, great BBQ & music, friendly people, gorgeous skies, and SUMMER HEAT! Temps of 101-105 are a regular thing so dressing accordingly can be a challenge. In going through my swimsuits for the season, it dawned on me that swimwear can easily be converted into a heat approved outfit. The long leopard top of a 2 piece has such a versatile print, I knew I could style it with a lot of things. I will show you several ways to turn swimwear into an everyday style.

Outfit one-I bought these drawstring swim pants a few years ago and just love them, I wear them out all the time as a regular outfit. A thin shawl and straw fedora make this the perfect outfit for a pool party or just going out.

Outfit 2- A cute pair of sailor capri pants pulls the white out of the top and creates a dressy outfit. The top can be tucked in or out, I like to belt it to define the waistline.

Outfit 3- Tucking the top in is my preferred way of wearing it. If you are not comfortable with a strapless piece, adding a blazer is always a good choice.

Outfit 4- Who would guess that this is a swim top and a $6 basic white skirt from Ross Dress For Less? A dressy look for so little. The shoes and the black and white fedora upstyled all of these looks.

Outfit 5-Tucking the top in, adding a vibrant red blazer for the punch of color, and changing the fedora creates a timeless outfit. The right swim top can become a versatile outfit staple, great for vacation packing. Thinking out of the standard fashion box creates one of kind outfits.

Blessings,
