Styling a Ralph Lauren quilted jacket

A post for LOVE month wouldn’t be complete without something from Ralph Lauren my fashion LOVE man! He is my favorite designer hands down, he gets my style lol. When I found a like new RL quilted jacket with suede patches, for just $17 at Goodwill, I looked it up to see it selling on eBay for over $100+ not surprising since his things typically resell very well.

In deciding how to style it, I used some Ralph layering basics...

Texture plus warm colors are the foundations of these looks. A vintage cable knit sweater with a shawl collar is truly a timeless piece, this thing is OLD but still looks amazing. A vintage cabbie hat, and matching the brown patches in the jacket, over-the-knee Corinne boots by Vince Camuto. Any blazer looks great with this combo. With the style of the quilted jacket, it really looks great with riding boots.

The rich vintage leather vest, multi-color vintage cabbie hat, and plaid scarf, give this whole outfit an RL feel.

I prefer to just leave it open, I think the quilted fabric just looks too bulky when the belt is on.

No vest? No problem, it’s not a necessary piece it just adds to the woodsy layer look.

Most likely I will sell this cutie pie, it’s just not a style I wear very often so it should belong to someone who will love it. Ralph LOVE should be enjoyed by all!

Blessings,

Eden
