Can you believe September is almost over? Where did the month go? We had an eventful couple of weeks. My mom fell and broke her ankle in 2 places and will require a lengthy hospital stay, our son moved back to Colorado today, and our youngest has spent his first month away at college making us aware how quiet the life of an empty nester can be. It’s just been that tear-jerker type of month. Like the fall leaves, our lives are changing and sometimes what you feel is lost only comes back bigger and better. With faith, we will embrace change and adapt to a new normal.

This is my farewell September outfit. Orange and gray striped wide leg pants with a crochet top. It has that carefree hippie vibe I want to go into October with lol. You just have to have a good sense of humor and remember that today’s challenges are tomorrow’s wisdom.
