Rainbow bright

Good morning Y’all! I hope today finds you happy, healthy, and ready for the weekend! I wanted to post something fun today. I came across this bright beauty at Ross dress for less.

When shopping, before I touch any item I stand back and scan the entire row, I look for what stands out of the pack on the rack. If it can stand out in a sea of other pieces, it is something worth looking twice at. I also look at how I can restyle pieces differently than they were intended to create my own unique piece. Such was the case of this cutie pie by the brand Live 4 Truth, It caught my eye with the vibrant colors, unique cut, bell sleeves, with ruffles, which I always love, in my cart she went!

Since it was at Ross it was very inexpensive, only $17. A great price for such a versatile piece. Since the split in the front requires something to be worn underneath it gives me lots of choices in how to style it.

I chose black lace shorts since it is over 100 degrees daily here in Texas, but you could wear leggings, jeans, a ruffled skirt, a tank dress, or as a cute swimsuit cover-up, endless possibilities!

There are plenty of shoe choices with this many colors, I opted to continue the rainbow theme with strappy gladiators by Sheikh. Such a steal, only $9 on Poshmark, and they are brand new. It’s a bold choice to wear 4” gladiators with shorts at my age lol, but honestly, who cares? As you all know by now, I have never been too concerned about what others think of my outfits, I dress to please myself.

I always joke that I will be buried wearing my beloved stilettos, the taller and bolder the better lol. I do love unique shoes and outfits, it’s just part of my creative process I guess. I have a sign in my closet that says “ life is too short to wear boring clothes” and I agree completely.

Have the most wonderful weekend!
