Crows feet in heels

Western Wednesday

Yeee freakin’ haw y’all! One of the things I love about living in Texas is I can wear western wear to my heart’s content and no one gives a flip. No weird stares or asking if I’m with the rodeo lol. It’s a style I really love. Suedes, fringe, plaid, prairie dresses, denim, and of course my beloved cowboy boots! Pitter-patter goes my lil cowgirl heart. Funny, that I like this style so much since most of my clothing choices seem to be a little more on the “city” side. I really love textures and western wear just has it locked up for me. Authentic western wear can be pricey. Cowpokes don’t play. I would never pay those kind of prices for a skirt or jeans. A concho belt alone can run $80-$150. Lol, no thank you.

Nothing like fringe to add some punch to the party. Tiered suede fringe skirt (brand-Hot & delicious) over black leggings, large disc concho belt, buffalo plaid flannel button down (brand- Favo look), and the oh so hard to find Jessica Simpson studded, Abilene cowboy boots. I have a fringed suede shawl that I add to it. The skirt also looks amazing with a basic black turtleneck and heels for those not interested in cow-chickery.

You don’t have to live in Texas to get your giddy up on, a fringe skirt and a denim shirt gives the vibe without going full cowgirl.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
