Mauve. Whenever I hear that word I immediately think of Billy Crystal and his “you look MAH-VA-LOUS” skit! How random my thoughts are sometimes lol. Mauve. Not pink, not purple but right in between, also not blush pink which it’s often called. It’s a color you don’t see all the time which is why this skirt piqued my interest. Granted the pleated full style is always my favorite, in fact, I have this exact skirt in black & white, but getting one in a unique color = extra bonus fashion points.

The color is hard to match exactly since there are so many shades similar to it. I found the cute lace cami which came close. Adding a simple white cami under it brings both colors together.

$13 for a cute summer outfit? Yeppers! I could style it with a white button-down top to make it more formal, but for summer, this is a nice alternative.

I painted these heels white, they were a scuffed awful mess, but the structure was still great. Now they look like new. Painting worn shoes will keep them from the landfill and give them new life. They are easy to touch up if they get scuffed, which for me always happens with white heels. I am kind of a klutz lol. Thinking out of the box is a great way to stretch a fashion dollar!
