My only real fashion rule, which I follow without fail is to love what I wear. I am not concerned as much if others love it lol, but for me personally, the right outfit just elevates my mood and sets me up to take on the day whatever it may bring. The term power suit lends to that feeling of authority and self-confidence, who can’t use a little more of that before you take on your day?

I recently found this lovely sweater dress by Fashion Nova for $8.50. It’s in between a dusty pink and lilac. It’s not a color I normally wear, but I am loving it! Paring it with a berry or wine color makes such a pretty combo

I love a good contrast, it just makes an outfit pop! I own so few things in shades of purple, I may need to give it a go and add a few things to the vault.

Changing the belt and hat, and adding a knit beret is also a fun look with this dress. There are so many ways I can style it, it has become one of my new favorites!

Sometimes all you need is a new color combo to put a little pep in your fashion step!
