Happy 4th!!

First, I want to thank everyone for all of the wonderful birthday wishes, comments and messages. Y’all are seriously the sweetest, and also some of the funniest people I have the pleasure of knowing. I truly appreciate you.

Do you have big plans for the 4th? This evening we are heading to a nearby carnival & parade to watch the fireworks and eat a bunch of carni-food that I will most certainly regret later lol.

The 4th is about so much more than fashion, but since this is an outfit diary, I celebrate the day with one of my favorite color combos, red, white, and blue. I put together 2 outfits and am also sharing my dress from last year, which I bought from Amazon.

I recently bought the $4 tie, $7 navy striped skirt, and $8 red blazer from Goodwill. I paired the tie with a ruffle high-neck shirt.

The vintage navy double-breasted vest and wide-leg striped pants are also thrifted pieces I have had for a while. Wearing a vest as a top is something I have done for years. Adding the red flower on the lapel just gives it an extra color punch.
