Tis the season to put away all things orange and pull out my beloved Christmas wear. I am waving goodbye to November in my favorite fall cape.

Now granted, every time I wear it my hubs makes some crack about Elvis or me being a superhero lol. I guess my superpower would be fighting high retail prices. He should know by now his ridicule only strengthens my desire to wear them every day lol. He usually loves everything I wear, but he is just not a fan of the cape. I on the other hand adore them, and you will be seeing several over the next few weeks.

I would concede that long and thick ones like this do look best on those blessed with long legs. It tends to swallow petite women up, but I am not detoured by it, I just embrace being encased in fall loveliness lol.

I bought this 2 years ago from Shein, I have to admit that while most of their clothes are flimsy fashion wannabes, their capes are really great. I’m also wearing a Moda ivory sweater dress and Banana Republic boots. Give capes a try, you might love them as I do!
