Christmas tux

Move over little black dress, there’s a new option in town. I think all women should own a tux. Yep, a tux. The creme de la creme of suits when you want to go luxe.

Y’all know by now my love affair with menswear so of course, a tux is a must-have. You don’t always have to wait for a special occasion to wear one, sometimes you just feel fancy on a Tuesday lol.

I have collected several colors and styles over the years and really like to mix and match the jackets with jeans, the pants with sweaters or more casual tops. I got this one for a steal at NBC for $18. You seriously can’t pass up a tux for that price. When I found the tartan vest on eBay, this outfit worked itself into a permanent Christmas party rotation. The heels match the vest perfectly, but they are hard to see with the loud plaid doormat.

It looks great for holiday parties and is a great option when it is too freakin’ cold outside to wear a dress lol. It is also a great conversation piece. I never wonder if someone will be wearing the same outfit at the party lol.
