My daughter once described this outfit as the senator’s wife lol. It does have that kind of flair. I bought the Issac Mizrahi skirt and Bow top at Target about 15 years ago. At the time I just needed a quick outfit for a conference, I didn’t think it would end up staying in the vault this long.

It is figure-flattering, which is always a benefit with monochromatic and clean line outfits. You can style it so many different ways with blazers and accessories.

In this set, I used a simple leopard cardigan and matching Jessica Simpson heels. Whatever heels you wear will add a pop.

I also wear this top with wide-leg trousers and leather suspenders. It goes with just about anything

The wool pants and the sleeveless top give the multi-textured look that I like. Suspenders go great with just about any top.

Throw on oxford heels and a blazer and you have a great outfit for the office and going out afterward. It’s not an outfit you see every day, which is why it’s been in the vault so long. Suspenders are inexpensive but pack a unique style punch. Give it a go, you may love it!
