THAT dress…

Do you have a THAT dress? It’s one that sits patiently in your closet year after year, waiting to be chosen to enjoy a night out on the town. A little too fancy for most occasions, not fancy enough for a big show event.

Such is the case of this spicy little number by Haute Monde. When I saw it, it was love at first sight. You all are probably sick of the constant maxi romper posts, but it’s what I wear the most in the summer. The style of this is one of my favorites, it has a dressier edge than most romper dresses, but I have yet to wear it anywhere.

I think the plunging back and neckline is what always stops me from wearing it, it’s just a little too much skin for my taste, even for a date night with my amazing Hubs.

I put a cute tank under it to help lessen my qualms about it, and it helped a little but maybe in the end this dress just may be a little too racy for my comfort level. I’ve had it for 3 years and it’s just too cute to sit in the back of the closet. Sadly, it may just make it to the upcoming sale rack. Or, I will keep it till the next round…lol.

Let’s talk about those gladiator boots by ETC…. LOVE them! They just give the outfit an extra kick, not like it needed it though.

I guess THAT dress will live to die another day!
