4 way leopard + RHINO oh my!
Long time no see my fashion friends! I caught the Rhinovirus and let me tell you it is no joke. It’s named appropriately since you feel like you went a few rounds with a rhino family. I am still not 100% but getting there. I can’t even begin to tell you how great it feels to be able to breathe properly and to also put on something cute instead of sweats accessorized with kleenex lol. There is only so much Netflix one can watch before you are ready to climb the walls. I am not a person who sits often so I have been more than ready to get back to my normal life.
Normal for me is leopard anything and how many outfits can I create from it. You have seen several of my posts singing the praise and versatility of the elastic waist maxi. I found this cute silky Joan Rivers skirt at Goodwill for just $6.
I had pinned a lot of outfits on Pinterest while I was sick, one was a leopard cape. I decided to try using the skirt instead of buying fabric to make one, it was easy to convert it into a cape by just using a brooch. I didn’t have a black one I liked, so I just used a button and a safety pin to create a faux brooch.
This is such an easy and inexpensive way to create visual interest with any outfit. I will certainly do this again, maybe next time using a floral or plaid skirt. This is my first post breaking out my beloved BOOTS! I am always so excited for fall to hit since I am such a die-hard boot gal. These faux croc lovelies are Fendel by Vince Camuto.
Outfit #2-Wearing a maxi as a strapless dress and pairing it with a belted jacket. Belting blazers have been in for a while now. I love the style.
Outfit #3-A black turtleneck and wearing the skirt as intended. A sweater is a great way to winterize a thin material maxi. The black velvet plunge booties are by Steve Madden, the chunky belt is from Shein.
Outfit number 4, or maybe I should call it 3.5 since I just added one piece, a cape blazer, it gives it a more polished look.
4 easy outfits from one $6 skirt. Its sooo good to be back to doing what I love.
Blessings,
Eden
